Meal Services are provided through HT Catering and Meats. Contact information for Meal Services will be given after confirmation of Rental. Each Meal is optional, and Meal Service is optional.

Meal services for Rentals includes: real plates and silverware in folded napkins, table linen for on the buffet, professional staff, clearing off the tables after dinner and dessert, condiments, and garbage removal.

If you opt out of our meal services and wish to make your own food, you must have a qualified cook with the Food Safe Certification from Alberta Health Services in the kitchen at all times meals are prepared. If you need more information about this contact us at: [email protected]

*Please note that we are required to have a qualified lifeguard with up to date certification on the beach at all times while people are in the lake. This applies for both swimming and canoeing. You may use your own lifeguard given that their certification is up to date.

**Dogs must be kept on a leash and in control at all times. You are responsible for picking up after your dog and properly disposing of their waste.

***All buildings and rooms must be returned to us clean and how you found them (we provide the supplies and the instructions) in order to avoid a cleaning charge.

Please let the Rental Coordinator know if you require a lifeguard, and what times you require them for.

Insurance

We require any group that rents Camp Kannawin to have a group/event insurance policy.

If you have your own group/event insurance policy, you must send a copy of it to the Facility Manager before your rental for our records.

If you do not have a group/event insurance policy, you may apply for a temporary event insurance policy for the duration of your rental from your existing insurance company. Contact them for further details.

If your insurance company cannot provide event insurance, there are many different options available. You can apply for this from companies such as Duuo by The Co-operators or Alberta Motor Association. Please visit the links below for more information from these companies.

Please ensure that you request insurance in reasonable amount time before your rental to ensure you receive the policy in time. Failure to provide a policy may result in termination of rental.

Terms and Conditions

Camp Kannawin is a dry site, any Alcohol, Marijuana, Cigarettes, or E-Cigarettes are prohibited.

These rates includes the use of the whole site for your group including the kitchen. 

There is a $50.00 + GST non-refundable booking fee required when booking to reserve your stay with us.

If you have to cancel your booking, your booking fee will not be refunded. Please give us at least 4 weeks notice if you have to cancel. This allows us time to re book your rental with another group

There is also a $1000 Refundable Damage Deposit Fee required upon arrival. This will not be refunded if there are any damages to the property after the rental.

Please adhere to all local bylaws, including those regarding noise, fire bans, fire code, and any other relevant laws. If your group violates any of these regulations and Camp Kannawin is fined as a result, the fine will be passed on to your group.
