Camp Kannawin welcomes children, youth, and adults of all ages to come and spend some time with us this summer in one or more of our camps. Campers will get to spend time in the water canoeing, swimming, using the water trampolines and everyone's favourite - the Rainbow Slide! On land we will shoot arrows, walk on ropes, go on nature walks, and explore God’s Beauty. Those who are creative will love the crafts and games that are played. Our evenings end with a crackling fire on Sylvan Lake with songs and skits under the stars.
Below you will find a more detailed description about what each camp has to offer. When you are ready, click here to find the link to our online portal.
All ages
Families of all sizes and ages are invited to come reconnect with each other while also meeting other families. We offer two family camps that fall on the July/August long weekends. Get ready to celebrate Canada's birthday during the July Camp. The August Camp is our second (and most popular) family camp and falls right in the middle of summer when families are looking for somewhere to go for the long weekend. There will be plenty of activities, time for rest, and a whole lot of laughter. As a reminder, there needs to be an adult who is present and responsible at all times for those family members under the age of 18.

Psst, if you are at least six, you are old enough to come to camp all by yourself! Come and meet some new friends, have a sleep out in Gibson Hall, and end the week with a carnival. Remember to pack your favourite stuffed animal or doll to share the week with you!

School’s finally done and summer is here!

The things we find when we least expect it. Sure, all the other camp activities are great, but getting the chance to eat home grown fruits and vegetables right out of the garden is an experience you don’t want to miss. We will be going off site to a local u-pick to discover some amazing farm-to-table foods just for you.

This week still has all of the great activities you would have experienced before with us including building a super cool project
out of things found in nature. (Psst, it is not slingshots!) Make sure you bring your creativity to both the adventure and the arts side of the camp this summer!
10 - 12 year olds
This camp is filled with 5 nights and 6 days of all of the activities you love. Get your walking shoes on as we venture out in the local Provincial Park to explore nature and discover some hidden treasures. Also expect to spend a night out in a tent and see the stars!

Are you ready to go on an adventure? Campers will enjoy all the usual camp activities, will go off site for a High Rope Activity, camp out in a tent while eating a few meals over a fire, create a very cool art project to share with family at the end of the week, and have plenty of time to hang out with old and new friends. Sign up now!
13 - 15 year olds
Our Trailblazer camp returns this year, and we are super excited to have them back! We have tons of fun activities planned including a night out under the stars and a trail ride hosted by a local ranch. Do not worry, though – we will allow lots of time to meet new campers and to reconnect with past friends.

Are you looking for an off-site camp in the mountains? Panoramic views, crisp cool mornings, freshest of air, and plenty of things to do as we venture out to the magnificent Rockies. Even when we are in the mountains, traditional activities like polar dips, field games and, of course, S’Mores happen!
